Description
Ruins of a house that was buried under lava on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy.
The house was only 14km away from the Etna Volcano.
Mount Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe and the highest peak in Italy. It is one of the world's most active volcanoes and is in an almost constant state of activity.
We visited it a week after its activity peak in August 2018 and it was still steaming.
