Description
The Wormser Hof, a historic building in the old town of Heidelberg, Germany, was first mentioned in 1409 as the town house of the Worms bishops . From 1442 to around 1610, the property served as the city residence of the cathedral provost of Worms, who was also a chancellor of the University of Heidelberg.
At the end of the Thirty Years' War (around 1648), Lord Craven bought the house, called the English House by the locals at that time. The cinema Harmony, which was housed here from 1956 to 2013, took its name from the civil society Harmony that had the court in possession in the 19th century.
